Want to show off your furry friends to the world? Enter the 2011 CHHS Calendar Contest!

 

For $5 a photo, your pet has a chance to be selected to appear in next years Calendar. Students at Halstead High School design our Calendar for us. The students and personnel there make the selections of which photos will be included.

 

Here's How It Works!

 

You Submit a photo of your pet electronically or via postal mail, and the entry fee of $5 per photo.
We will of course need your name, your pet's name and your contact information.

Photographs submitted electronically should be as high resolution as possible.
About 2400 pixels by 3000 pixels is ideal.

Try to make sure that the photos capture your pet's personality and that the background is as uncluttered and visually appealing as possible. Try to pay attention to lighting as well - diffuse, indirect lighting is best. It that is not possible, try to at least avoid glare. We may make some changes to the backgrounds of photos submitted.

Contest Deadline is July 15th!

 

Step 1 - Submit Photo's of Your Pet!

 

You can mail your photographs & a check for the entry fee (payable to
Caring Hands Humane Society) to the following address:

Or you can submit your entry via email, then pay electronically below. To email your entry, send an email to kevin@caringhandshs.org. You will need to include your pet's name, your name, your address, your email address, a phone number where we can reach you, and how many pictures you are submitting. Please attach these pictures to your email. Submissions without payment cannot be accepted. When paying below, enter your name, your pet's name, your phone number and email address in the comments field of the online donation form.
